3D Rendering

A 3D rendering offers various organizational and economic advantages over classic photography.

Digital Twin

Every product and every object can be recreated by us as a "digital twin" via 3D modeling. The possible uses are varied and range from visualizations to interactive applications.

Cost Effective

Compared to classic photography, there are no costs for renting locations, logistics, travel expenses, etc. with a digital implementation. Thus, 3D renderings are often more cost-effective and sustainable.

Uniform Imagery

In the 3D scene, materials, perspective, lighting and surroundings can be individually adapted and permanently saved. This guarantees a uniform visual language for your 3D visualization.

Independent Of External Influences

The production of 3D renderings is independent of time. Instead of being influenced by the time of day and weather during the photo shoot, these factors can be selected individually for each 3D visualization.

Product Vizualization

We visualize your product range photo-realistically using 3D rendering. Based on CAD data, techn. We reproduce the "digital twin" of your product, including all details and materials, from dimension sheets or product samples. From individual images to individually programmed batch processing of hundreds of views, everything is possible thanks to our know-how.

  • Examples

Cut-outs, close ups, cross-sectional visualizations, application or installation situations ...

Interior Rendering

Whether for real estate, product range presentations or fictitious showrooms. Thanks to our extensive 3D database of furniture and decorative elements, various styles can be represented. No floor plan available yet? Our interior designers are happy to develop exclusively suitable rooms for your products in order to put them in the limelight.

  • Examples

Real estate & real estate, category images, key visuals, 360 ° tours, virtual showrooms ...

Architectural Visualization

Construction projects can already be visualized by means of 3D rendering, although they are still in planning or under renovation. A realistic architectural visualization increases the chances in sales and in competition. Your existing techn. Drawings can be used seamlessly for the 3D implementation.

  • Examples

Single or multi-family houses, public buildings, urban mobility ...

3D Animation

Still renderings are created for most use cases. For moving images or animations, we recommend taking a look at our topic page for 3D animation:

What does CGI and 3D rendering mean?

CGI stands for Computer Generated Imagery , i.e. German computer-generated imagery. Animations, visualizations and effects are rendered using special software. This technology is called CGI . Here it depends primarily on the experience of the 3D artist and “craftsmanship”. However, we also use the latest artificial intelligence technologies in order to achieve the best possible result for you.

On the other hand, 3D rendering is the final result, i.e. the image calculated by the computer.

When is a 3D rendering worthwhile?

A 3D rendering can be worthwhile from the first visualization - not only if, for example, a classic photo shoot is not possible at all (e.g. prototype of a product, architectural visualization) or a uniform imagery of a product range is important (e.g. online shop).

3D renderings can be particularly cost-effective for products with many variants - e.g. various colors or materials, different perspectives, optional components, etc. 3D visualizations are ideal for realizing economies of scale.

The 3D model, the "digital twin", also opens up additional interactive possibilities in 3D such as Augmented Reality .

What does a 3D rendering cost?

The costs are always individual and depend on the project effort and the desired quality. The complexity and quality of the input files for the project have an impact on the time required. We give a little insight into the cost structure in our blog post "What may a 3D rendering cost? “

How long does it take to implement a 3D visualization?

The time required always depends on the complexity of the visualization and whether objects still have to be individually modeled in 3D. A cutout based on CAD data requires less time than, for example, an architectural visualization with many details. We usually deliver the first draft for approval within approx. 4-5 working days. We are very familiar with on-schedule productions and, if required, create a schedule with milestones at the start of the project.

In the context of framework agreements or permanent production pipelines, even shorter lead times are possible.

CAD data is already available - can it be used for a 3D rendering?

As a rule, we can process all common CAD formats such as STEP, SAT, DWG, and IPT. Of course, we take existing CAD files into account when preparing the offer, as these reduce the basic effort in 3D modeling. You can get more insights in our blog post:

"What are CAD files and how can they be used for visualizations?"

How does the cooperation with Studio 2038 work?

Before the start of the project, you will get to know your personal project manager in order to clarify any final questions about the project. Project planning starts in the background and the team is briefed internally. Our specialized 3D artists then start with the implementation. The 3D visualization is optimized in joint coordination - including two correction loops, if necessary.

With our tools, we make collaboration comfortable for everyone involved. After approval, we will deliver the final data in the desired resolution and archive all project data for any follow-up orders.
